I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I am now offering readings at Maenad Tarot! Tarot has been such a wonderful gift in my own life, and I’m beyond excited to be able to share that gift with others. Read on to hear a little bit about my style as a reader and a description of my current offerings.
I believe that tarot is a fantastic tool for self-exploration and self-empowerment. My readings are not predictive, meaning that I do not read the future. I am not a psychic, meaning that I do not read minds. So I can’t tell you when you will meet your true love, the color of your true love’s eyes, and so on. And I wouldn’t want to. How boring! What are you supposed to do with that information, just sit back and wait to see if it comes true? No thanks. Instead, my tarot readings are all about you, the seeker, and the resources you have inside of you to shape your own future. Want some perspective on where you are right now, the circumstances surrounding you, and what to do next? I’m your reader. Want to go on a deep dive into the patterns in your life and how you can change them? Let’s get into it. Want to reflect on what it is that you really need to do to take care of yourself right now? I’m here for you.
My readings are somewhere between tough love, a personal pep rally, a deep spiritual conversation, and a really good hug. If the cards show adversity or heartbreak, I’m not going to pretend that isn’t there. But what would be the point if we couldn’t do something about it? Your reading will include thoughtful reflections on where you are, how you got there, and actionable advice on how to get where you want to go next. I am ready to hold your question with compassion, understanding, and absolute faith in your ability to grow and thrive.
I am currently offering written email readings, which means that if you book a reading with me, within one week you will receive an email with a pdf of your reading, including written interpretations of the spread and a picture (or pictures) of the cards. The benefit for you is that you get to keep your reading and return to it whenever you need that reality check or that burst of inspiration. And here’s the thing: writing is one of my favorite things ever, and I have been developing this craft my whole life. This is what I DO. When I sit down to write up your reading, you are getting the very best of what I have to offer the world. That sounds heavy, or cheesy, but I truly mean it. I will tell you the story of your reading in vivid detail, tracing connections between the cards like I’m making a constellation in the stars just for you.

- The Quick Message reading is a simple, one card reading that is meant to tell you what it is you need to know right now.
- The three card You, Here, Now reading gives a more complex look at your current situation, and has several variations available to suit your question.
- The Head, Heart, Hands, Whole reading is designed as a holistic self check-in, reflecting on your mental, emotional, and physical state, with advice on how to care for your whole Self at this time.
- The Eye of the Storm reading will help you find your center during times of chaos. Perfect for when you’re feeling overwhelmed and need to feel grounded.
- The Crossroads spread will help you take stock of your current position and help you make a big decision (available as a solid six card or more complex eight card reading). The reading won’t tell you what to do, but will help you weigh your options and consider what you need to know in order to make the best choice for you.
- And last but never least, the Classic Celtic Cross will give an in-depth look at where you are, how you got there, and what to do next.
